Don't be afraid.


Green smoothies are really good! Have you tried them? We just did last night at our neighbors, YUM! The grass green shade it turns is gorgeous! They're pretty easy to make, too. This is what we made but it's so easy to add or subtract anything in. Throw in whatever fruit you've got and you'll love it.

to feed plenty:
water
A bag of spinach
a cup of greek yogurt (we used strawberry)
half cup of ground flaxseed
2 bananas, chopped
2 apples, chopped
a few handfuls of frozen mango chunks

2 1/2 cups water in the blender. Add rinsed spinach, blending and adding until you reach 5 cups. Add yogurt and flaxseed. Add in chopped fruit a few pieces at a time. Drink!

Clearly this is a really specific recipe. :) Just got for it and tell me if you try them-I'm curious to see if anyone else likes them!
