today I wore: 6 / 18 / 24 / swiss scarf / handmade pin
Halfway! HOORAY! I'm sure taking my sweet time this round, eh? That's okay though, I'm having a great time. Like yesterday, when I accidentally dressed up like I just won the country fair. Gingham, boots and a yellow pin to boot. What do you think? Did I win my pin for my triple berry pie, hog tying, or rodeo queen?
Don't worry, I have had actual involvement in two out of three of those categories, I'm not making fun. You just get to figure out which isn't related to me.
Needing a big belt buckle aside, I really did like this outfit yesterday. So much that we went to the salon together and I got my hair done! YESS. It was a little jealous, the outfit, but I had just tailored the shirt saturday so it really shouldn't complain. It got gussied too.
Happy tuesday!
You look so cute! And I never knew you did hog-tying!
ReplyDeleteI like this outfit and it didn't seem country fair-ish to me. It seemed city slick. You always look for effortlessly put together. I am forever jealous about that!
ReplyDeleteI want to know which of those categories you have won in the past!

I love the pops of color and accessorizing on your outfit. It looks chic and creative vs. country fair to me. So pretty!

For your sake, I'm hoping you were rodeo queen and triple berry pie winner. I took pigs to the fair one year. I was told whatever money I made could go towards school clothes. NOT EVEN WORTH IT. Pigs are nasty, evil animals. I am behind on commenting, but I've been enjoying your outfits! :)
