Something I try and think about when I'm purchasing a new piece is how many different ways can I use this? It's a life long fashion skill I ripped from the pages of Kendi Everyday. If you haven't read her working closet series, you need to. It's now non-optional.
Anyway. These outfits certainly aren't mind blowing or anything, but you need to be able to picture a piece working on your wardrobe. Try and think of at least three unique ways you could wear something when you're trying it on. Can't even think of three? Probably not going to be very handy in your closet, as much as you may like it. Thinking of more? Well go get it already!
Just thought I'd let you know that your blog is awesome and I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the skirt combo!

I love both outfits!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean when you say they're not mind blowing or anything. When I post about my outfits I feel like they are super awesome because of the mental effort they required on my part to come up with them. For others, they might not be a big deal but I think they are and that's what counts. :)
