Last week

Cache was gone on a business trip all week. All week. We could have gone with him, but a baby and a hotel? Whelp...I chose to stay home. So brave or stupid, it was me and this sweet face going it alone. We did have a craft night, but that was as far as I dared venture. There was also a tiny corner of magazine eating incident which left me opening a million infant CPR videos on youtube and worrying for two more days. Basically, this Momma needs her better half. He is my sanity, my safe house, my kiss on the forehead to let me know everything is okay. And the way he lights up this little girl is just melt in your mouth perfection. We both ached for him.

I'm so grateful for this little family of ours, and may we never be apart that long again.
